A few years ago I might have thought this was a casual community...anonymous, online, all those distant and not real things.
No, we are a family. And tonight, we mourn Kirstin Paisley, one of our number, departed a few hours ago thanks to that bastard cancer.
Kirstin was a woman of passion for justice, a priest, a caring and loving person. Even those of us who did not know her personally were enriched by her presence. We mourn her as a family, while we celebrate her life.
Go in peace, Kirstin. Go in love.

Kirsten will be missed.
No blogger is an island entire of itself; every blogger
is a piece of the internet, a part of the datashpere;
if a blog be washed away by a loss, the internet
is the less, as well as if a promontory were, as
well as a manor of thy friends or of thine own were; any bloggger's death diminishes all bloggers,
because bloggers touch all others.
And therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.
To Kristen by way of John Donne with love.
She goes in love.
And I have faith she remains, purely, in Love.
Thank you, Kirstin.
