We went to Mass this morning and found out that the Cathedral in San Diego will be joining the Day of Decision demonstration on Tuesday. So we will march with our new friends.
The picture below is from the post I did about the march in November. The presence of the Cathedral as an affirming community at that event was one of the reasons BP decided to start attending church there. It seems only fitting for us to be part of it this time.

Ed Bacon - All Saints Pasadena - preaches on what they well do on Decision Day here.
I will be awaiting the good news from Cal Sup Ct. Should they decide in favor of prop 8 I will be writing like crazy!
IT, I'm SO glad you and (esp.) BP have the Cathedral as a community of faith&support to rely on (whether to party, or grieve).
Just for BP (no, not really!)---
Y'all may know I've been fan-gushing, like, EVERYWHERE, so what's one more time? ;-)
From the soap opera Guiding Light (last Tuesday): newly-out lesbian character "Natalia" (played by the gorgeous---and 8 months pregnant!---Jessica Leccia) comes out to her priest (and out Bibles him!)
We WILL overcome!!! :-D
JCF-- still storming heaven about a job for you. Hope you feel surrounded by prayers bearing you through these days.
What Ann said!
Good to see you Göran
Welcome home Father Göran!
Heh: when Fr Ray cited Romans 1:26-27 to Natalia (see above!), I shouted at my TV "No, that's about female-superior position in heterosexual intercourse---Goran told us so!". Good to see you, Padre (Vater?). :-) Thank you, and Ann (etc), for your prayers.
It really seems easier, these days, to LOSE myself in the fictional world of Guiding Light, than to face MY (real) world and its troubles. But I know I can't/oughtn't/mustn't do that... :-/
Thank you dear friends. I have been missing you!
