Same-sex marriage became legal in Maine on Wednesday as Gov. John Baldacci signed a bill less than an hour after the state legislature approved it. "I have come to believe that this is a question of fairness and of equal protection under the law and that a civil union is not equal to civil marriage," said Baldacci, a Democrat.

High five for this Gov!
And Washington DC... whew! Now that will be interesting as Congress has to approve... oy.
BTW... the word I had to type is was bushiac... lolololol.
I hope the Gov of New Hampshire sees the writing on the wall. Or the bucks that could go to the surrounding states' but not his coffers from tourists. Money is one issue that can turn heads faster than religion which is one reason why the IRD has been so successful in corrupting religion?
