Duck Dynasty and Statutory Rape

So, hirsute "Duck Dynasty" patriarch Phil Robertson got noticed because he said rude things about gay people.

It seemed to be ignored that he said some profoundly offensive things about black people.

And then there's this, in which he essentially endorses statutory rape:
Robertson advises members of his Georgia audience to marry girls when they are only 15 or 16 years old, before they become gold diggers.
“You got to marry these girls when they are about 15 or 16,” Robertson says, as he laments that “boys are waiting until they get to be about 20 years old before they marry ‘em. Look, you wait until they get to be 20 years old, the only picking that’s going to take place is your pocket.”
Americans Against the Tea Party notes that “Robertson is no stranger to doing just that. He began dating his wife Marsha when she was fourteen and he a legal adult. They married two years later when she was just sixteen. The age of consent in Louisiana is seventeen years old, and it is a crime for anyone regardless of age to engage in sexual relations with a fourteen year old (though there is no word on if they had premarital sex). If a person is under seventeen, it is illegal for anyone more than two years older to have sex with them. No matter what, it is likely (but not proven) that Robertson broke at least one law.”
SO, right-wingers, you like that?  you tell your daughters that you'd like 'em to be married at 15?

Really?

And of course, this whole Duck Dynasty thing is a complete fake, as they are actually  a well-off bunch of clean-cut white folks pretending to be poor hicks.

laughing all the way to the bank, is Mr Robertson, playing the reactionary right yet again.
