Here's how: Blogger's window is 400 pixels wide. So we have to adjust both width AND height to proportionally scale down the embedded video.
The Youtubes are generally bigger; this one was 425 width. For a standard aspect youtube like this, I changed the embed text so that the widgth is 400 and the height is 323 (width and height attributes occur twice in the embed text). For a "more "Rectangular" youtube with a very long horizontal aspect ratio, like the one in my post below, it's 400 x 245.
I adjusted the dimensions to fit blogger.
