Saw our friend Prior Aelred today, and explained to him my white shirt (accompanied by my rainbow-colored neck-chain). The look for Benedictines is basic black, but he's with us in Spirit. ;-)

We lost.
I was in meetings most of the morning (live blogging inbetween on Daily kos). BP phoned me from her office crying and asked me to come home as soon as I could.
It's the color of weddings. Wear white to support gay marriage on hearing day....or at least wear a White knot.
For you, IT and BP--Gladly!!- may justice be done.

Let us hope for the best but know that even if we lose it is only a battle not the war.
